MUDr. Ladislav Virág

He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice in 1990 with a Commendation of the Dean of the Faculty – a red diploma. He completed his first-degree attestation in Internal Medicine in 1993, obtained a specialisation in Communicable Diseases (infectology) in 2000 and a specialisation in Healthcare Management and Financing in 2006.

For 10 years he worked as head physician of the Clinic of Infectology and Travel Medicine at the L. Pasteur University Hospital in Košice. For 8 years he was the regional specialist of the Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic for infectology and tropical medicine for the Košice Self-Governing Region.
